Kalpataru Shares Makes a Muted Debut, List Flat at ?414 on NSE & ?414.10 on BSE

Mumbai-based real estate developer Kalpataru Ltd made a muted stock market debut today. The shares listed at par today with the issue price of ?414 on NSE and ?414.10 on BSE.?

After a muted listing, the share prices surged to ?448.65 at 10:14 AM.?

Ahead of the public offering, the company secured ?708 crore from anchor investors, including GIC (Singapore), SBI MF, and Bain Capital.?

The Kalpataru IPO opened from June 24 to June 26 2025, was a book-building issue of 1,590.00 crores, consisting entirely of a fresh issue of 3.84 crore equity shares.?

During the three-day bidding window, the IPO received 5,15,74,176 bids against 2,28,26,516 total shares offered. Overall, the IPO received a muted response from all the investor categories.?

The funds from the fresh issue are intended to repay or prepay company borrowings and for general corporate purposes.?
