Transrail Lighting Ltd. on 27th February, 2025 announced the receipt of new orders aggregating to ?2,752 crore, mainly from the transmission and distribution segment. This news led to a 6% surge in the share price of the company in early trade today.

• Transrail Lighting’s year-to-date order inflows have crossed ?7,400 crore after?the recent order wins and this translates into a growth of around 90 percent over the previous year.

• The share price?of Transrail Lighting surged more than 6% on the news in early trades. Shares on the NSE jumped as much as 6%?to ?517.70.
• Transrail Lighting?shares were trading 2.44% up at ?496.00 on the BSE at around 9:35 AM.
• Despite a recent uptick,?the stock had dropped 3% in a month and over 11% on a year-to-date basis.

Transrail Lighting’s net profit surged by 92% to??93.2 crore in the quarter ending December 2024, from ?48.6 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal. Revenue?from operations rose 62% to ?1,357.6 crore, while earnings before interest, taxes, amortization and depreciation grew 80%, at ?179.8 crore. Further, a strong order book, manufacturing capacities, a track?record of execution capabilities, and a strong tender pipeline gives the construction engineering company good growth prospects in the coming quarters.
