Excelsoft Technologies Makes a Strong Market Debut; List at 12.5% Premium

Excelsoft Technologies made a solid debut on the Indian stock market today. The shares opened at ?135 apiece on both BSE and NSE, a 12.5% premium over the IPO issue price of ?120 per share.?

The Excelsoft Technologies IPO opened on 19 November 2025 and closed on 21 November 2025. The offer was for ?500 crore, comprising a fresh issue of ?180 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of ?320 crore by the promoters. The price band was ?114–?120 per share.?

The IPO received a huge subscription across all investor categories. The total subscription was 43.19x. Break-up: QIBs ~ 47.55x, NIIs ~ 101.69x, and Retail ~ 15.62x.

According to its filings, Excelsoft intends to use the funds raised to acquire land and construct a new facility at its Mysore property, upgrade external electrical systems at its existing Mysore facility, upgrade IT infrastructure (software, hardware, communications and network services), and use the balance for general corporate purposes.
