ICICI Bank ATM PIN Generation

ICICI Bank customers, after opening a current or savings account, are asked to generate a 4-digit ATM PIN or debit card PIN for security purposes. Users can use any of the following methods for ICICI ATM PIN generation:

• Through ATM
• Through Customer Support Number
• Through Online Banking
• Through Mobile Application

Customers who do not have access to online or internet banking have the option of generating a new ATM PIN at any ICICI Bank ATM. Given below are the steps to activate ICICI debit card PIN/ATM PIN through ATM:

• Step 1: Go to any ICICI Bank ATM.
• Step 2: Swipe your card and select the ‘PIN Generation’ option.
• Step 3: Click on "Create/Change PIN" from the other options, such as withdrawal, check balance, and so on.
• Step 4: The bank will send an OTP to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the "Proceed" button.
• Step 5: Create a 4-digit ATM PIN/debit card PIN.
• Step 6: Re-enter the PIN for confirmation.
• Step 7: Press the "submit" button.

The bank will send a notification to your registered mobile number after successful PIN generation.

Customers can also generate ICICI debit card PIN by contacting ICICI Bank's customer service department. To do so, they should follow the steps outlined below:

• Step 1: Call the ICICI Bank toll-free number at 1800-200-344.
• Step 2: Select your preferred language.
• Step 3: Press the requested number on your handset to select the debit card services.
• Step 4: Select ‘Generate Debit Card PIN’.
• Step 5: The bank will now provide you with an OTP; input the OTP to proceed.
• Step 6: Now, enter the PIN of your choice into your handset.
• Step 7: Enter the debit card PIN again.
• Step 8: Change the PIN on your debit card.
• Step 9: The bank will send you a message informing you that your debit card PIN has been changed; contact the bank if you have not already done so.

Customers of ICICI Bank can also activate ICICI debit card PIN using the online banking service. Follow the steps below to update your ICICI Bank debit card PIN through the internet banking account:

• Step 1: Log in to your ICICI Bank online banking account by entering your username and password.
• Step 2: On the online banking main page, click "My Card PIN" in the upper-left corner.
• Step 3: The user will be redirected to the next page. Under the "Debit Card PIN" option,? click on "Create PIN."
• Step 4: Select the account associated with the debit card for which you want to change the PIN. Input the CVV number of the debit card.
• Step 5: Confirm your registered mobile number by clicking the "Submit" button.
• Step 6: Next, enter the OTP (One-time password) that is sent to your registered mobile number.
• Step 7: Create a new ATM/Debit Card PIN and re-enter it as a confirmation.
• Step 8: Click the "Generate Now" button.?

The bank will send a notification on your registered number after successful debit card PIN activation of ICICI Bank.

Customers can also use the iMobile App of ICICI Bank for activating their ICICI debit card. To do this, they need to generate a 4-digit PIN for ICICI ATM Card/Debit Card using the mobile banking application and follow the steps mentioned below:?

• Step 1: Open your mobile application of ICICI Bank and sign in with your user ID and password.
• Step 2: On the main page of the iMobile page, click on "Services" at the bottom of the screen.
• Step 3: Select "Card Services" from the list of options under ‘Services’.
• Step 4: Next, click the "Create Debit Card PIN" button.
• Step 5: Select the account number associated with the debit card, as well as the debit card number.
• Step 6: Enter the CVV number for that specific debit card, followed by your new PIN. Re-enter the new PIN for confirmation.
• Step 7: Click "Submit" to finish the PIN generation process. The bank will also notify the user after completion of the process.
